Community Food Support
Rise of Hearts is a humanitarian food-support initiative of Satyameva Jayathe Foundation Charitable Trust, created to respond to hunger, food insecurity and the immediate needs of vulnerable individuals and communities.
What began as a simple act of compassion during the difficult period of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 has grown into a continuing humanitarian mission focused on ensuring that food reaches people who need it most.
During the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, foundation volunteers came together to provide food and essential support to daily-wage workers, homeless individuals, and struggling families. This early experience became the foundation for Rise of Hearts—a continuing commitment to humanitarian service and food security.
Hunger is more than a lack of food. It affects health, dignity, education, productivity and the overall well-being of individuals and families.
Providing fresh, nutritious food and meals directly to individuals and communities experiencing acute food insecurity.
Responding rapidly to urgent food needs during periods of crisis, natural disasters, economic hardship, and local emergencies.
Working closely with local volunteers and panchayat leaders to assess and identify areas where humanitarian food support is needed most.
Mobilising dedicated citizens and youth volunteers who want to contribute their time, skills, and resources to hunger-relief drives.
Encouraging communities to recognize hunger as a shared social responsibility and building a culture of care, empathy, and dignity.
Transforming individual acts of kindness into a sustained community movement for long-term food security.
Rise of Hearts provides dignified assistance to vulnerable groups, including:
